Our Story
The Foundation
Simonson Headhunting Service stands for professionalism, discretion, and a people- centered approach in executive staffing and recruitment. Founded by Harriet Simon, the agency combines more than two decades of experience in premium service and recruiting — both nationally and internationally.
Harriet Simon grew up in a South German entrepreneurial family with household staff and became familiar with the unique demands of private and exclusive households from an early age. This upbringing laid the foundation for her deep understanding of service culture, reliability, and trust — values that remain at the heart of Simonson Headhunting Service today.
Before pursuing her entrepreneurial path, Harriet was a renowned radio presenter and editor in Berlin and Brandenburg, hosting daily programs covering politics, culture, and entertainment. In the late 1990s, she founded the butler agency Prominent Residence Berlin, followed in 2003 by a relocation company in Cape Town, South Africa. After seven years in South Africa, the family returned to Germany, where Harriet established the recruitment agencies Medical Gate Germany and Die Jobvermittlung Bodensee at Lake Constance.
In 2015, Harriet assumed a leadership role at LGT Venture Philanthropy, the philanthropic foundation of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. This chapter of her career — together with her experiences in Africa — profoundly shaped her understanding of social responsibility, humanity, and sustainable business practices.
With Simonson, Harriet returns to her professional roots and true passion: the art of professional executive staffing and recruitment.

Our company name, Simonson, is a play on words combining our family name — Simon and Son. With many years of experience in human resources, hospitality, and the hotel industry, we combine professional expertise with genuine empathy and a strong understanding of people.

Finding the candidate who is perfectly aligned with each client’s individual needs and expectations is, for her, a deeply fulfilling responsibility.
Lenné Simon
Head of Administration & IT
Born in Berlin and raised in South Africa, Lenné began his professional career at
Dolder Sports and Hotel AG in Zurich. Over the course of six years, he worked in a
variety of roles and positions, progressing to Deputy Head of Administration and
Reservations. Alongside his career, he completed a degree in business
administration with distinction.
His professionalism, dedication, and warm personality are a valuable asset to the
family agency and are highly appreciated by both clients and candidates alike.
